- Represented a German multinational bank in the English Court of Appeal concerning the priority of subordinated debts to the remaining surplus in the Lehman estate. In Re LB Holdings Intermediate 2 Limited (In Administration) and In Re Lehman Brothers Holdings plc (in Administration) [2021] EWCA 1523.
- Represented a German multinational bank in English High Court insolvency proceedings concerning the priority of statutory interest against the principal of a subordinated debt. In Re Lehman Brothers Holdings plc (in Administration) [2023] EWHC 3056.
- Represented a corporate services provider to strike out claims made against it in the Commercial Court and the Court of Appeal by an entity which attempted to seize control of issuers of notes. Keycards Holdings Inc v Wilmington Trust SP Services (London) Limited [2022] EWHC 1019 and [2022] EWCA Civ 1172.
- Represented payment services providers in disputes with customers and counterparties arising out of fraudulent payments.
- Represented the claimant banks in a summary judgment application worth €17 million enforcing claims for outstanding principal debt and guaranteed liabilities. Société Générale and ING Diba AG v. Landmont Limited [2019] EWHC 1660 (Comm).
- Represented a multinational bank on its summary judgment from the High Court worth more than €160 million enforcing debts and guarantees owed to the bank by borrowers based in Greece, Albania, and Bulgaria. FBN Bank (UK) Limited v. Leaf Tobacco A.Michailides [2017] EWHC 3017.
- Represented a defendant public authority in a $200 million dispute with its investment bank counterparty concerning issues of ultra vires, misrepresentation, and professional negligence.
- Advised a note trustee on its rights and obligations arising out of an alleged event of default and the related settlement of outstanding court proceedings.
- Defended a Big Four bank from multiple interest rate swap mis-selling claims.
- Represented a leading U.S. investment bank in responding to a third-party disclosure application made by another bank in high value commercial court proceedings.
- Advising a servicer and lender to SMEs on its rights and obligations arising from its securitization documentation as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Represented a syndicate of banks on debt enforcement and related misrepresentation claims worth approximately €300 million.
- Acted for a British multinational universal bank in one of the leading cases on contractual consent.
