Annie Sher represents companies in commercial litigation, contract disputes, securities matters, antitrust litigation, and issues arising across the health care industry. She has experience in all stages of litigation, including motion practice, discovery management, witness preparation, and settlement strategy. Annie’s diverse background allows her to tackle multifaceted disputes with a holistic, solution-oriented perspective.
Before joining Alston & Bird, Annie gained hands-on experience at several non-profit organizations where she assisted with family court proceedings, criminal defense matters, and cases involving gender-based violence. This early advocacy work continues to inform her empathic, client-focused approach to litigation.
While working on her J.D. from the New York University School of Law, Annie was a senior articles editor for the Review of Law and Social Change. During law school, she also worked as a student advocate for several family advocacy initiatives and was a member of the Reproductive Justice Clinic.
