SJ Smith focuses her practice on handling commercial litigation matters. Before joining the firm, SJ was a judicial intern to the Hon. Timothy J. Kelly for the District of Columbia and as an extern for the Center for Death Penalty Litigation, where she gained experience in criminal and civil litigation.
SJ received her J.D. from The University of North Carolina where she served as the executive articles editor for the North Carolina Civil Rights Law Review and as a member of the Youth Justice Clinic. SJ earned her B.A. from the University of Virginia.
