• Represented the indenture trustee in connection with several RMBS settlements stemming from the global financial crisis.
• Represented the trustee, collateral agent and securities intermediary on a multi-tranched $1.3 billion debt offering for a major telecommunications company.
• Counsel to a major sports entity in connection with the formation and ongoing administration of a statutory trust involved in licensing intellectual property.
• Represented a trustee on second lien notes in In Re Nebraska Book Co., Inc.
• Represented a trustee on various trust-preferred transactions in connection with bankruptcies and receiverships affecting the related bank holding company or bank subsidiary.

Jason Solomon focuses his practice on the representation of trustees and agents in financial transactions and related litigation, bankruptcies, and restructuring. He regularly represents indenture trustees, owner trustees, administrative agents, collateral agents, escrow agents, custodians, and other service providers in all types of financial transactions and asset classes, including MBS and ABS securitizations, high-yield debt transactions, project finance matters, and lending facilities. While Jason has closed several hundred transactions with his trustee clients, of equal importance to his practice is his representation of trustees and agents in situations involving litigation and bankruptcy.

Before moving to Charlotte, Jason practiced law in Delaware, where he gained particular experience in the use of Delaware statutory trusts and other alternative entities. He continues to utilize this experience in all aspects of his practice and frequently represents trustees and others in connection with Delaware-related matters.
