Lili Song helps clients navigate privacy and intellectual property matters. Before joining the firm, she served as a patent extern with Emory University’s Office of Technology Transfer and as a judicial extern to the Hon. Timothy C. Batten of the Northern District of Georgia.
Before entering the legal profession, Lili worked as an assistant professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she advised over a dozen Ph.D. students and published extensively on technology and systems integration. Her academic research earned multiple national awards, including recognition from the NIH and the American Society of Civil Engineers. Her academic background gives her a deep understanding of complex systems, regulatory frameworks, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Lili draws on this experience to deliver thoughtful, analytically grounded legal counsel in technology and privacy matters.
Lili earned her J.D. from the Emory University School of Law, where she was inducted into the Order of the Coif. She also holds a Ph.D. in civil engineering and engineering mechanics from Columbia University, an M.S. in civil engineering from the University of Illinois, and a B.A. from Tsinghua University.
