Killian Steer is a member of Alston & Bird’s Intellectual Property Patent Prosecution – Electrical Software & Computer Science Team. He focuses his practice on patent preparation, prosecution, infringement, and validity matters relating to software, electrical, and electronics technologies.
Killian received his J.D. from the University of North Carolina, where he served as treasurer for the Carolina Intellectual Property Law Association and was a staff member of the North Carolina Journal of Law & Technology. Before law school, Killian obtained both his master’s and undergraduate degrees in electrical engineering, with honors, at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
