Dwight Tejano is a registered patent agent who assists clients with drafting and prosecuting patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Dwight combines his scientific background with business development and patentability strategies to help clients secure meaningful patent protection. His experience spans technologies such as artificial intelligence, image processing, wireless communications, and fintech platforms.

Dwight works with inventors to understand new technologies, prepares patent applications and responses to office actions, conducts examiner interviews, and coordinates with clients and foreign associates throughout the prosecution process.

Before entering private practice, Dwight spent more than a decade as a patent examiner with the USPTO, where he received an “outstanding” client service rating. In that role, he evaluated patent applications under Sections 101, 102, 103, and 112, developed prior-art search strategies, and conducted interviews with patent attorneys and inventors. Dwight also has product development experience involving software design, database workflows, user interfaces, and technical specifications.
