- Obtained a dismissal with prejudice for a major health care insurer in response to an emergency application by a prominent hospital seeking a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction related to transplant coverage. Despite the court’s refusal to grant a short adjournment and its threat to enter the TRO absent counsel appearance, the matter resolved favorably via a last-minute settlement that preserved the status quo, avoided monetary damages, and eliminated the need for injunctive relief.
- Achieved a full dismissal with prejudice for a former CEO of a global medical device company in a securities class action in federal court. Our client was the only one of four defendants to have all claims dismissed after years of litigation and a contested motion hearing. This result followed our representation of the client and others in related multidistrict litigation concerning a major product recall.
- Secured a complete dismissal of all claims brought by a laboratory services provider seeking $23 million in damages related to COVID-19 diagnostic testing, on behalf of a national health insurer.
- Delivered a significant jury verdict for a leading energy infrastructure company after a five-year legal battle involving extensive discovery, motion practice, and an interlocutory appeal. The three-week trial resulted in favorable findings on multiple claims, including breach of contract, tortious interference, breach of fiduciary duty, and malicious trade secret misappropriation—entitling our client to attorneys’ fees.
