Nick Wigginton is a patent specialist with vast experience drafting and prosecuting utility and design patent applications in the fields of medical devices, biometrics, Internet-of-Things (IoT), artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML), fintech, additive manufacturing, virtual/augmented reality (VR/AR), cybersecurity, and blockchain. Nick also leans on his experience as a lead developer for various university and spinoff projects that includes wearable medical devices and mobility assistance systems. Nick combines years of patent experience with a business mindset to design and execute patent strategies that emphasize value-add to his clients.

Nick earned his B.E. in biomedical engineering and political science from Vanderbilt University. During his time there, Nick also served as the executive vice president and Curriculum Committee representative for the Vanderbilt Engineering Council. For his research efforts, Nick was awarded the 2018 Thomas G. Arnold Prize for Biomedical Engineering Systems Design & Research and took first place at the 2016 Vanderbilt Healthcare Hackathon.
