Chris Baugher was a featured speaker during the session "Managing the Challenges of Regulation in the New Payments Landscape for Banks and Acquirer/Processors" on September 19 from 10:15 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., at this seminar. This session provided an overview of the challenges and success stories of managing electronic payments and technology innovation from a regulatory perspective, while promoting the innovative processes and technology applications that are emerging to benefit the local and national economy. Case studies were presented by innovators who have had to navigate the various regulatory and payment scheme rules that can sometimes be in conflict with each other.
