COST 2015 Spring Audit Session/Income Tax Conference

Clark Calhoun was a featured speaker during the session "Current State Income & Franchise Tax Reform/Conformity/ Simplification" at this conference hosted by the Council on State Taxation (COST). There continues to be strong interest in tax reform, conformity and simplification by various parties – both taxing jurisdictions and taxpayers – in a range of issues in the area of state income and franchise tax. Legislation and litigation are increasingly reshaping the landscape taxpayers are facing across the nation. This session included a discussion and debate of the emerging issues and “hot topics,” with a focus on key issues to watch for and what they could mean to your company’s bottom line.
