Alston & Bird hosts monthly client seminars designed to provide current, relevant information about today’s legal issues.
Alston & Bird’s Health & Welfare Benefits Practice hosted this program on March 3, 2016. The ACA has impacted employer hiring and employment practices. March’s session addressed two important developments: 1) ACA, MEWA and tax issues associated with temporary, leased and agency employees; and 2) ERISA and ACA risks associated with making employment decisions based on health benefit eligibility.
John Hickman, Ashley Gillihan, Steven Mindy, Carolyn Smith, Dan Taylor and Stacy Clark were featured speakers during the program.
