Alston & Bird served as sponsor of this symposium.
During the litigation track sessions, Stephanie Clouston presented "Liking, Tweeting and Sharing – Ethics & Privilege in the World of Social Media." This program addressed how social media intersects with common work scenarios and the issues to consider when these scenarios revolve around litigation. Using interactive polling questions, attendees will review hypothetical scenarios and discuss the potential ethical and professional pitfalls around attorney-client privilege, work product doctrine, information documentation, third-party investigations and other questions that arise throughout.
During the corporate track sessions, Darren Hauck and Gus Bahn presented "RWI in M&A Transactions." They discussed different considerations for representation and warranty insurance in the mergers and acquisitions context.
