Please join us for the seventh program in our series of educational sessions for our clients and friends on the General Data Protection Regulation. The GDPR roadmap series is a combination of webinar and in-person events designed to provide you with the critical information you need to assess and address the key issues raised by the passage and implementation of the GDPR. The series is co-chaired by David Keating, co-chair, Privacy & Data Security Practice and Jim Harvey, co-chair, Privacy & Data Security Practice and Cybersecurity Preparedness & Response Team. Other speakers from the firm and community will join us throughout the series.
Our seventh installment of our GDPR Roadmap series will provide an overview of the upcoming breach notification requirements under the GDPR and the NIS Directive as well as insights into the practical implications for companies doing business in Europe. We will hear from our partner Jim Harvey on what the new requirements are and what companies should do to globalize their incident response planning and prepare for the new EU requirements. Our guest speaker, Sebastiaan ter Wee, Senior Digital and Privacy Counsel and Group Data Protection Offcer at Aegon, will share practical experience on how companies have been dealing with the new breach requirements in the Netherlands and preparation for the GDPR.
