Ronnie Gosselin will be speaking on the panel “RCRA and Air Toxics: Never the Twain Shall Meet?” at this conference sponsored by the American Bar Association.
For a decade, the EPA has sought to address the widespread violations of air emission requirements under RCRA at hazardous waste facilities through its National Compliance Initiatives though many subject facilities remain unfamiliar with RCRA’s air emission standards and its intersection with the Clean Air Act.
This panel will highlight:
- Often-overlooked standards and their interplay with Title V permitting
- Potential impacts from increased EPA inspections and resulting enforcement
- Monitoring and self-auditing tools that may aid subject facilities and practitioners in achieving compliance
- Case examples for how practitioners best navigate and support their clients when many of these underestimated RCRA air issues arise
