Amy Nogid will present during this webinar hosted by Bloomberg Tax. This webinar will take a closer look at the recent trends in state corporate income taxation, analyze the survey results in these areas, and provide a discussion on recent changes in states’ taxation of corporations.
This program aims to clarify each state's position on nexus and other grey areas in state taxation by sending its annual Survey of State Tax Departments to senior state tax department officials in the District of Columbia, New York City, and the 46 states that impose a corporate income tax. The questionnaire asked officials about their state's tax sourcing rules, states’ responses to federal tax changes made by the TCJA and the CARES Act, requirements for reporting federal changes, and states’ combined reporting regimes and conformity to the Multistate Tax Compact.
