Alston & Bird Litigators Honored as National Black Lawyers “Top 40 Under 40”

Alston & Bird litigators Elizabeth Broadway Brown and Kimyatta McClary have been named by The National Black Lawyers as two of its “Top 40 Under 40.”

The award recognizes outstanding black attorneys under the age of 40 who demonstrate superior leadership, reputation, influence, stature and profile as a black lawyer. Only 40 black lawyers from each state or region are selected for membership each year. Selection is based on a multiphase process that includes peer nomination combined with third-party research.

Brown, senior associate in Alston & Bird’s Litigation Practice, was honored for her work in the area of business transactions and litigation defense. Brown focuses her practice on business and commercial litigation matters, with an emphasis on class action, privacy and antitrust litigation. Brown also provides strategic digital marketing and privacy compliance counseling and assists clients facing investigations brought by federal and state regulatory agencies.

McClary, senior associate in the firm’s Litigation Practice, was recognized for her work in complex commercial litigation and insurance defense. McClary focuses her practice on health care litigation and antitrust, with an emphasis on government investigations, regulatory compliance and commercial disputes. McClary is certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) and is an active member of the American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA) and the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA).
