Alston & Bird Rated a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality

Alston & Bird has once again earned a top rating of 100 percent in the Corporate Equality Index (CEI), an annual survey by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation that measures commitment to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) workplace equality.

The 2019 survey marks the 15th consecutive year that the firm has achieved a perfect CEI score, earning the distinction as one of the best places to work for LGBTQ equality.

Alston & Bird’s score of 100 recognizes the company’s efforts in satisfying all of CEI’s 2019 criteria, which evaluate LGBTQ-related policies and practices related to non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBTQ community.

The CEI rating is the most recent honor earned by Alston & Bird for its exceptional workplace culture. Other accolades include:

  • Honored as one of Fortune’s 2019 “100 Best Companies to Work For®,” the 20th consecutive year that the firm has been singled out by the magazine for its exceptional workplace culture.
  • Recognized by Forbes in its 2018 survey of “America’s Best Employers” for the second year in a row and one of only four law firms featured in the publication’s annual listing of the best places to work.
  • Named among Fortune’s 2018 “50 Best Workplaces for Parents.”
