This week centers on President Biden’s State of the Union address on Tuesday. After the address, Biden will take the traditional tour to tout his economic agenda. The Administration will also hold a briefing with congressional leaders and the Intelligence Committees on the Chinese balloon. The House will go about regular business, while the Senate will organize its committees. 

This week, CMS released a proposed rule that aims to streamline the enrollment process for Medicaid, CHIP, and the Basic Health Program (BHP), and HHS awarded $79.1 million in funding for overdose prevention grants.
