Alex Barnett Selected as Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Fellow

Alston & Bird is pleased to announce that the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) has selected Alex Barnett, partner in the firm’s Labor & Employment Group, as a member of the 2022 class of Fellows.

The LCLD Fellows Program provides high-potential, mid-career attorneys with supplemental professional development tools aimed at cultivating future leaders. It includes virtual classroom training, in-person learning experiences, accountability partnership, and opportunities to build relationships with peer Fellows, managing partners, and general counsel from member organizations.

The Leadership Council on Legal Diversity is an organization of more than 400 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are personally committed to creating a more diverse and inclusive legal profession. Alston & Bird has been a member of the LCLD since the organization’s founding in 2009. The LCLD’s landmark Fellows Program is in its eleventh year.

Based in Alston & Bird’s Atlanta office, Barnett solves problems for her clients around labor and employment issues, including leading complex litigation efforts and providing advice on employment agreements, policies, and practices. Her clients include academic institutions and large companies, including one of the world’s most profitable parcel and logistics companies.
