Colby Jenkins is noted as a new investment funds partner in the Charlotte office and Dustin Littrell is noted as a financial services counsel in the firm’s Dallas office, Jason Solomon and Sandy Brown are quoted on their joining.

Alston & Bird has deepened its ability to serve clients in the investment funds industry with the addition of partner Colby Jenkins in the firm’s Charlotte office and counsel Dustin Littrell in Dallas. Both join from Moore & Van Allen PLLC, where Jenkins led the firm’s Investment Management Practice.

Alston & Bird announces the election of 23 lawyers to its partnership, effective January 1, 2023. The new partners span eight U.S. offices and 15 practice groups.

Alston & Bird has formed a working group to assist companies in the U.S. and globally in managing the transition from LIBOR (London Interbank Offered Rate) and addressing the risks presented by the expected discontinuation of this major benchmark interest rate after 2021.

Alston & Bird has selected Heather Barger, senior associate in the firm’s Litigation & Trial Practice Group, and Christina Anderson, associate in the Finance Group, as members of the 2019 class of Pathfinders, a career development program sponsored by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD).
