Alston & Bird litigators Scott Pivnick and Nicole Weeks received Rising for Justice’s 2025 Donald J. Ridings, Jr. Award for Service at the group’s October 9 celebration luncheon. The award recognizes their outstanding pro bono work on behalf of communities in the nation’s capital.

He is an internationally recognized leader of trial teams litigating a broad range of intellectual property disputes covering numerous technologies in district courts, before the U.S. International Trade Commission, and at the Federal Circuit.
As a senior associate with the Privacy & Cybersecurity Litigation Group in Atlanta, Nicole advises clients on complex commercial, multidistrict, and class action defense, with a special focus on cybersecurity and data privacy litigation.
