Alston & Bird managing partner Richard Hays and Atlanta office partner-in-charge Janine Brown have been recognized in Georgia Trend’s Georgia 500, honoring leaders whose vision and innovation reflect the vitality of Georgia’s business community.
Richard has led Alston & Bird since 2008, overseeing its expansion to 13 global offices and its rise among the world’s top 50 firms based on annual revenue. He serves on the executive committees of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, the Midtown Alliance, Baylor High School, and the advisory board for Best Lawyers in America. He has also held leadership positions with the advisory boards of Vanderbilt Law School and Leadership Atlanta and is a member of United Way’s Ivan Allen Society.
Recognized as a leader in Georgia’s legal community, Janine is active in civic and charitable organizations that strengthen the city’s art, education, health care, and criminal justice sectors. She has served on the boards of Piedmont Healthcare, the Georgia Justice Project, Spelman College, and the Woodruff Arts Center.
