Monica Aponte Rodríguez tracks potential legislative and regulatory changes in the health care industry on the federal level, prepares advocacy materials, and advises clients on policies that affect their business.
Before joining Alston & Bird, she served as a special assistant to the deputy secretary at the Department of Health and Human Services. She also interned at a health care litigation finance firm and in the office of Congresswoman Jenniffer González-Colón. She received a master of science in global health policy and management and her B.A. in business and public health from Brandeis University.
