Ayodeji Ayolola brings five years of international experience in environmental law, combining deep regulatory insight with a solid foundation in litigation and legal education. Before joining Alston & Bird, he represented high-profile clients in Nigeria in complex environmental and commercial disputes and served as an adjunct professor at the Nigerian Law School in Lagos, teaching corporate law and mentoring aspiring lawyers.
At Alston & Bird, Ayodeji focuses on high-stakes energy litigation, toxic tort defense, cost recovery matters, and cross-border transactions, bringing strategic insight shaped by his international legal background. His experience spans all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings and dispositive motions, managing written discovery, preparing for and participating in depositions, coordinating expert witnesses, engaging in settlement negotiations and mediations, and supporting trial and appellate work.
Ayodeji earned his LL.M. from UCLA School of Law, with a concentration in environmental law. He previously served as a judicial extern to the Hon. Martin J. Jenkins at the Supreme Court of California.
