Megan Couch

• National counsel team member for a Fortune 50 retail company involving product liability lawsuits alleging the sale of contaminated products.
• Representing oil companies challenging a de facto moratorium on the issuance of well stimulation permits by the State of California, including claims that the state officials lack statutory authority to adopt a de facto moratorium and that the agency has implemented an underground regulation.
• Representing a pro bono client in a lawsuit brought under federal and state anti-trafficking laws against former employers.

Megan Couch focuses her practice on a range of commercial litigation matters. She earned her J.D. from UCLA, where she was a managing editor of the UCLA Law Review and was a judicial extern to the Hon. Dale S. Fischer in the Central District of California.

Megan received her B.A., with honors, in economics and political science. Before law school, Megan worked as a policy analyst, analyzing policy data and legislative information, preparing in-depth technical reports, and developing strategies to influence legislative initiatives.
