- Represented a multinational manufacturer of high-end jewelry in breach-of-contract and fraud actions against a jewelry retailer and its ultimate parent companies to recover nearly $52 million in damages.
- Assisted with the defense of a commercial sterilizer in a multi-plaintiff tort litigation in California concerning ethylene oxide exposure claims.
Proposition 65
- Defended a multinational retail corporation against several lawsuits and notices of violation alleging exposures to chemicals covered by California’s Proposition 65.
- Defended a retailer in connection with a notice of violation, under California’s Proposition 65, and the resulting litigation, concerning alleged exposures to Bisphenol-S in thermal receipt paper.
- Provided a gas station and convenience store operator with California Proposition 65 regulatory advice.
- Overcame an objection by the California attorney general to secure entry of a favorable Consent Judgment on behalf of a major seafood supplier that allows the company to average exposure to mercury over a period of 16 days.
