Andi Mandell focuses her practice on providing tax advice to the securitization industry. Her tax expertise spans traditional securitizable assets, such as RMBS, MSRs, CMBS, student loans, credit cards, and SFRs to a wide range of esoteric asset classes such as litigation finance, life settlement, structured settlements, MSOs and timeshare loans. In addition, Andi advises tax-exempt entities, REITs, hedge funds, and private equity firms on complex tax matters related to finance and investment platforms.
Andi is ranked Band 1 by Chambers USA in Capital Markets: Securitization: Tax – Nationwide and was named as one of Crain’s New York Business’s “Notable Women in Law.” She has served on the Structured Finance Association (SFA) board, and she currently chairs the SFA Tax Policy Committee. For more than a decade, Andi has also served as lead pro bono counsel to The Gary Sinise Foundation, where she serves on the board of directors.
