• Represented Vexus Fiber, a Texas-based telecommunications provider and portfolio company of Pamlico Capital and Oak Hill Capital formerly known as NTS Communications, in its acquisition by MetroNet a leading fiber optic network provider.
• Represented private equity firm Pamlico Capital and its portfolio company, Veson Nautical, in its growth investment from Francisco Partners, a leading global investment firm that specializes in technology-enabled businesses.
• Represented Veson Nautical, portfolio company of Pamlico Capital, in its acquisition of Q88, a SaaS business specializing in the marine shipping industry.
• Represented Pamlico Capital in the $315 million sale of VRI Intermediate Holdings LLC, an industry-leading provider of remote patient monitoring solutions, to ModivCare Inc., the Denver-based technology-enabled health care services company.
• Represented The Carlyle Group and its portfolio company PK Global, a customer experience engineering firm, in the $1.575 billion sale of Carlyle’s majority stake to Concentrix Corporation.

Matt Tyson is a senior associate in Alston & Bird’s Corporate & Business Transactions Group. He focuses on corporate transactional matters and counsels private equity clients in all stages of mergers and acquisitions, business reorganizations, and joint ventures. He also advises clients on general corporate matters.
