• Advised an administrative agent and bank group in the origination of a $300 million construction loan for a build-to-suit hyperscale data center in Georgia.
• Advised the administrative agent and bank group in the construction financing of a build-to-suit single-tenant data center in Quincy, WA.
• Advised the administrative agent and bank group in the syndicated term financing of co-location data centers in Silicon Valley, Chicago, Charlotte, Atlanta, and Portland, OR.
• Advised the administrative agent and bank group in the construction financing of a build-to-suit single-tenant data center in Santa Clara, CA.

Retail

• Advised a syndicate of eleven lenders in originating a $1.2 billion CMBS loan secured by a luxury shopping mall in Houston.
• Advised an institutional lender in a $500+ million loan origination of a trophy-asset shopping center and the subsequent stand-alone securitization in Miami.
• Advised the lender on a $358 million ground lease and air-rights retail center financing and the subsequent note sale.
• Advised an institutional bank group in the origination of a $1 billion loan secured by a trophy-asset shopping center in Miami and its subsequent stand-alone securitization.
• Advised a lender in the financing of a luxury condominium tower with a flagship ground-floor retail on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.

Courtney M. Wright is a partner with Alston & Bird’s Real Estate Group. She focuses her practice on the areas of real estate finance and the capital markets.

Courtney has experience representing institutional lenders, investment banks, and debt funds in connection with the origination of commercial mortgage loans, credit facilities, construction loans, mezzanine loans, and loan restructurings for all asset classes. She has particular experience representing both lenders and borrowers in negotiating construction loans and other types of debt structures for the financing of data centers.

Courtney was named among the “2020 Top Women Attorneys in Los Angeles” by the Los Angeles Business Journal.
