Gabriel Walsh focuses on solving the technology and e-discovery challenges of clients by leveraging advanced technologies, innovative thinking, and creative strategies. He leads Alston & Bird’s Legal Technology Consulting Services team and provides additional technical and strategic guidance to the firm’s lawyers.
For more than 20 years, Gabriel has provided litigation technology and e-discovery consulting services to Fortune 500 corporations, Am Law 200 law firms, government agencies, and an array of companies and firms. He advises clients and internal teams on e-discovery readiness and information governance, e-discovery response, document management protocol, efficient review workflow, production quality control, and related areas. He is a strong proponent of using data visualization to streamline all aspects of litigation and e-discovery, emphasizing reducing review costs, increasing review consistency, and providing additional insight into otherwise hidden information.
Before joining Alston & Bird, Gabriel led the e-discovery team for a Fortune 25 telecom. He also led teams of consultants and project managers in various roles in litigation, trial technology, and e-discovery. He co-founded the discovery division of a leading national trial graphics and technology support firm and has designed customized methodologies and workflows for clients around the world.
Gabriel is a Relativity Master, Relativity Expert, and Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA), with certifications in analytics, assisted review, and project management. He is also a Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS).
