Matthew Mamak regularly advises public and private companies and investment vehicles on capital structuring and raising, corporate governance, securities regulation and compliance issues, and mergers and acquisitions. He regularly advises clients on compliance with the Securities Act of 1933, Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and the rules and regulations of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Nasdaq, and NYSE. Matthew has advised hundreds of clients on such issues. His public company clients range from startups to well-seasoned issuers.

Matthew is the co-chair of Alston & Bird’s New York City Pro Bono Committee and serves as the partner in charge of the firm’s mentoring program. In 2024, he was recognized by the Lawyers Alliance for New York in its 20 Year Circle for his exemplary volunteer and pro bono work throughout the community. He has received many other recognitions for his pro bono work.
