John Snyder spoke at this event hosted by the ABA Section of Antitrust Law.
There are many different roles one can take as a U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division attorney. This distinguished panel of former DOJ enforcers who have occupied the roles of trial attorney, assistant chief, chief, counsel to the assistant attorney general, chief of staff, and chief counsel for competition policy and intergovernmental relations discussed working at the Antitrust Division. Panelists discussed the civil and criminal investigative process, best practices for effective advocacy, as well as what it is like to work in career and political positions at the Antitrust Division.
