Jack will be a panelist for “The Treatment of Liabilities in Corporate Transactions.” This panel will address the treatment of liabilities in taxable and tax-free transactions.
Danny will moderate a panel titled “Sales, Exchanges & Basis: Part 2: § 1202 Economics and Policy.” The panel will explore the implications of § 1202 for choice of entity decisions and analyze the current financing climate for small businesses, and the need for additional equity financing incentives for small businesses.
Matt will be a panelist for “State Unclaimed Property Laws – What You Don’t Know Can Still Hurt You!” This panel will discuss recent developments in the state unclaimed property space, with a focus on recent litigation that has the potential to shape the landscape for years to come while state enforcement of unclaimed property laws continue to evolve and state and holder-initiated litigation is on the rise.
