Kim Peretti and Gavin Reinke will speak on June 9 at this program hosted by the Practising Law Institute (PLI).

Kim Peretti will be co-chairing this event and will provide opening remarks. She will speak on the “Global Data Breach: The Cybersecurity Risks Aren’t Hypothetical” panel. This panel will walk through the gamut of incident response activities, from assembly of the incident respond team to negotiation with the threat actor to remediation and breach notification.

Gavin Reinke will speak on the “Courting Trouble: Insights on the Latest Privacy and Data Security Litigation” panel. This panel will discuss the evolving privacy and data security litigation and mass arbitration landscape including related to data breaches, statutory privacy laws (e.g., state wiretap laws and biometric laws), and common law claims.
