Alston & Bird Honored as Top Firm in Investment Funds Client Service

Alston & Bird has been singled out by CTA Intelligence as the top firm for client service to the investment funds industry.

CTA Intelligence announced the award – “Best Law Firm - Client Service” – at its “CTA US Services Awards 2015” ceremony, held February 5 in New York. The firm was also a finalist for “Best Law Firm - Overall.”

This is the second year in a row that CTA Intelligence has recognized Alston & Bird for its leadership in the investment funds space. Last year, the firm was honored as the “Best Law Firm - Innovation.”

“The environment for investment funds has become much tougher in recent years due to a host of factors, including increased regulation,” said Tim Selby, head of Alston & Bird’s Investment Management Practice and president of The New York Hedge Fund Roundtable. “More than ever, funds are looking for comprehensive advice, so it’s gratifying to see the tremendous value we place on client service throughout our firm resonating with the industry.”

CTA Intelligence is a leading publication focused on the commodity trading advisor and managed futures space. The CTA US Services Awards recognize and reward those who have provided outstanding support and services to the North American managed futures industry over the past 12 months.

Alston & Bird’s Investment Management Practice specializes in the structuring, formation and ongoing advice relating to emerging and institutional investment funds. The group represents institutional investment managers and asset management groups of major financial institutions, as well as entrepreneurial start-up and established managers looking to build an asset management business. It serves clients throughout the United States and overseas in Australia, Canada, Ireland, Norway, Singapore, Switzerland, Ukraine and the United Kingdom.
