Alston & Bird secured a decisive win for global technology leader Nokia in a patent infringement suit brought by Core Optical Technologies in the Central District of California. Following a Federal Circuit remand, the court dismissed all claims for lack of Article III standing, affirming Nokia’s position in high-stakes litigation over optical networking technology.
Representing Nokia was an Alston & Bird team led by partners John Haynes and Tom Davison. The team also included partner Kirk Bradley, counsel Lindsay Church, and associates Sloane Kyrazis and Jacob Young (Intellectual Property Litigation and Patent Litigation).
