Alston & Bird Health Care counsel CJ Frisina is quoted in The Hill article “What to Know About the Temporary Medicare GLP-1 Bridge Program” (subscription required), discussing the new Medicare GLP-1 Bridge program that will allow eligible Part D enrollees to access GLP-1 medications for a limited time. CJ said the program could encourage new telehealth providers, as well as existing providers that do not currently accept Medicare reimbursement, to enter the market.
