Nicki Carlsen Discusses the Role of External Counsel in Land Development

Alston & Bird has been honored as the 2020 “Volunteer of the Year” by Public Counsel, the country’s largest pro bono law firm.

Alston & Bird has expanded its national environmental litigation capabilities with the addition of Greg Christianson as a new partner in the firm’s San Francisco office. He arrives from Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP.

Alston & Bird has boosted its national environmental practice with the addition of Kevin Minoli as partner in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Minoli arrives from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), where he served for 18 years in a variety of legal roles, including acting general counsel and, most recently, principal deputy general counsel.

Nicki Carlsen, Alston & Bird partner and co-chair of the firm’s Environment, Land Use & Natural Resources Group, has been recognized as one of the “Most Influential Women Lawyers in Los Angeles” by the Los Angeles Business Journal.

Alston & Bird has expanded its environmental litigation capabilities with the addition of Jeffrey Dintzer as partner and Matthew Wickersham as counsel in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Both join from Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP.
