Kitan has experience advising public and private investment funds on complex securities and structuring matters. Her leadership skills were honed by serving as co-captain on the Division 1 women’s volleyball team at Georgia State University.
Kitan Ajanaku is a senior associate in Alston & Bird’s Investment Funds Group. She focuses her practice on securities transactions, including public and private offerings, with a specific emphasis on closed-end registered investment companies, including interval funds, business development companies regulated under the Investment Company Act of 1940 and other alternative investment vehicles. She also regularly advises boards of directors on corporate governance issues and registered investment advisers on compliance with the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.
