Devin Schoonmaker is a senior associate in Alston & Bird’s Federal & International Tax Group. He has experience advising clients on general corporate matters and securities compliance, as well as tax matters that utilize federal and state low-income housing tax credits, historic rehabilitation tax credits, and renewable energy tax credits. Devin represents developers, syndicators, investors, and business clients.

Devin is recognized by The Best Lawyers in America© on its “Ones to Watch” list. Before joining the firm, he honed his skills with tax-incentivized transactions at firms in Atlanta. Devin earned his J.D. from The University of North Carolina School of Law, and was a staff writer for the First Amendment Law Review.
