Jaime Turcios represents clients in complex transactions including single-family homes, infrastructure, project development and finance, energy, debt issuances in the capital markets, and structuring and negotiating financing facilities. Jaime has significant experience representing both lenders and borrowers on deals involving financing single-family homes and large-scale infrastructure, and he also offers clients an experienced eye toward energy and project development and finance, including the negotiation of power purchase agreements EPC agreements O&M agreements and other project documents. His career has included extensive experience in the development of infrastructure projects around the globe.
Jaime’s background includes work at Grupo Terra, a Honduran energy conglomerate, and as a partner at Honduran law firms advising on construction project finance and mergers and acquisitions in the energy sector. His prior experience in the United States includes being part of the commercial deal team for a major New York-headquartered investment bank in their securitized products and secured lending group, where he worked in deals involving single-family homes and pharmaceutical royalties.
Jaime earned his J.D. equivalent at the University of Navarra in Pamplona, Spain, and his LL.M. and certificate in business administration with a finance focus from Northwestern University. Jaime served as a professor of law at Unitec Law School, where he taught a course covering public-private partnerships.
