Hedge Funds

Led the negotiation of distribution arrangements for a $5.3 billion multimanager platform, one of the largest high-profile hedge fund launches of 2024.
Represented an $830 billion+ assets under management (AUM) manager in the formation of various relative value, emerging markets, long-only, and long-short hedge funds.
Represented the independent investment management subsidiary of one of the world’s largest life insurers, forming long-only equity funds, emerging markets funds, and other hedge funds.
Represented a $216 billion AUM manager in the formation of various systematic and long-short equity hedge funds and funds of one.
Represented a $25 billion AUM manager with respect to its flagship multistrategy funds investing in hedge, private credit, private equity, real estate, and other asset classes over a 40+-year track record.

Private Credit Funds

Co-led the oversubscribed $2.1 billion fundraise for Kennedy Lewis Capital Partners’ second flagship opportunistic credit fund.
Led the $600 million formation of Bardin Hill’s opportunistic credit fundraise and parallel sidecar vehicle.
Representing a $1 billion AUM manager in the formation of a venture debt fund targeting $750 million in commitments.
Representing a $750 million AUM manager forming its second flagship distressed debt fund targeting $1 billion in commitments.
Representing a $60 billion AUM manager on the formation of an emerging markets credit fund focused on Latin American debt opportunities.

Formed the fifth flagship private credit fund for a $36 billion AUM manager.
Represented a $45 billion AUM manager with respect to its evergreen private credit fund.

Represented one of the largest insurance companies in the United States with its separate account investments in private funds, including private credit, private equity, and real estate funds.

Co-led a $1 billion seed investment in a fund of GP stakes.

Investment Management M&A and Strategic Transactions

Co-led a bespoke transaction to acquire from a private fund manager a $575 million private credit fund and its portfolio assets which, following the transaction, was incorporated into an interval fund managed by a $5 billion AUM private wealth manager.
Represented a $10 billion AUM Minnesota-based manager in its management buyout from one of the largest privately held companies in the United States.
Led the sale of a $270 million AUM Texas-based hedge fund manager to a diversified financial services firm, and co-led the subsequent repurchase of that advisory business from the acquirer.
