Alston & Bird and partner Kevin Minoli (Environment, Land Use & Natural Resources) are proud to represent the Coalition for Green Capital (CGC) in filing applications seeking $11.9 billion in grants from the Environmental Protection Agency’s Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund. If successful, CGC will be the largest publicly funded green bank in the world and the first national green bank in the United States.
Notably, CGC’s proposals to invest nearly $12 billion in the fight against climate change include a commitment to invest at least $7 billon in disadvantaged communities.
