Five Alston & Bird partners across four different offices —Kim Peretti (Washington, D.C.), partner and co-chair of Alston & Bird’s Privacy, Cyber & Data Strategy Team and National Security & Digital Crimes Team; Wim Nauwelaerts, partner-in-charge of the Brussels office and leader of the European Privacy & Cybersecurity Team; and Kate Hanniford Washington, D.C.), Kelly Hagedorn (London), and Lance Taubin (New York), partners on the Privacy, Cyber & Data Strategy Team—have been named to Cybersecurity Docket’s 2026 “Incident Response Elite.”
This marks the tenth year that Kim has been recognized among this select group of leaders in security incident management and data breach response. She was previously named to Cybersecurity Docket’s “Incident Response 30” in 2016, 2018, 2019, and 2020; “Incident Response 40” in 2021 and 2022; and “Incident Response 50” in 2023, 2024, and 2025.
This is Kate’s third year being recognized, following her inclusion on the publication’s “Incident Response 50” lists in 2024 and 2025. This marks the first time Wim, Kelly, and Lance have been recognized by Cybersecurity Docket in its “Incident Response Elite.”
