Edward Leaf is an associate in the Finance Group on the Structured and Warehouse Finance Team. He represents lenders, borrowers, issuers, and originators in the securitization and financing of various asset classes in the structured finance market.
Edward earned his J.D., cum laude, from the Washington College of Law at American University. During law school, Edward was an honors intern with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Treasury Department, and the Department of the Interior. As a student, he served as an articles editor for the Administrative Law Review and founded the school’s Blockchain, Virtual Currency, & Digital Assets Law Society.
Edward received his bachelor of music from The Catholic University of America and his master of music from the Peabody Institute at Johns Hopkins University. As a double bassist, Edward has taught and performed on four continents, appeared at notable venues such as the Kennedy Center, and performed alongside several Grammy-winning artists.
