Alston & Bird continues to deepen its transatlantic corporate and transactional offering with the addition of partner Tamer Bahgat in London. Joining from Ashurst LLP, Bahgat focuses on international capital markets and leveraged finance transactions, with a particular emphasis on complex high-yield debt offerings, refinancings, and leveraged buyouts for corporates, private equity sponsors, and investment banks.

Alston & Bird announced today that Supreme Court of Georgia Justice Keith R. Blackwell will rejoin the firm as senior counsel in its Litigation & Trial Practice Group. A former litigation associate at Alston & Bird, where he began his career in private practice in 2000, Justice Blackwell will return to the firm in January and be based in its Atlanta office.
