Alston & Bird client P2P Staffing Corporation has closed on the sale of its MedPartners HIM division to AMN Healthcare Services, Inc., in a deal valued at $195 million.
Under the terms of the agreement, AMN, which lists on the New York Stock Exchange and is the country’s largest health care staffing firm, could also pay up to an additional $20 million to P2P Staffing, based on MedPartners’ future financial performance.
Based in Tampa, FL, MedPartners is one of the city’s largest privately held and fastest-growing businesses. Providing mid-revenue cycle staffing and services for health care facilities, the company posted approximately $125 million in revenue in 2017.
P2P Staffing is a privately held professional staffing company that also owns TekPartners, one of the fastest-growing U.S. IT staffing firms.
