Alston & Bird client U.S. Lumber Group, LLC, a leading building materials distributor, has acquired Midwest Lumber.
The acquisition, which closed June 1, adds to U.S. Lumber’s geographic presence and product mix. Prior to the deal, the Atlanta-based company operated in 27 states, mainly in the East and Midwest, and had more than $800 million in annual revenue. Midwest Lumber serves more than 1,000 customers in Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin, as well as parts of Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Illinois.
