Alston & Bird advised Veritiv Operating Company, a leader in specialty packaging distribution, on the sale of Veritiv Containers, the company’s rigid-packaging business, to TricorBraun, a global packaging leader. Pending regulatory approval, the sale is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025.

Alston & Bird represented GMS, a leading North American specialty building products distributor, in its definitive agreement with The Home Depot, the world's largest home improvement retailer, to be acquired by its specialty trade distribution subsidiary, SRS Distribution, for a total value of $5.5 billion. The transaction is expected to be completed by January 31, 2026, pending customary closing conditions.

Alston & Bird represented Veritiv, a leading provider of packaging, print, and facility solutions, in its acquisition of substantially all the assets of Ameripac LLC and Ameripac Pennsylvania LLC, a leading provider of turnkey contract packaging and fulfillment services with annual revenues of approximately $60 million.

Alston & Bird client Select Interior Concepts (SIC), a premier installer and distributor of interior building products, has announced the sale of its Residential Design Services (RDS) business to Interior Logic Group, a Blackstone Group portfolio company, for approximately $215 million.
